How Hollywoodbets Cash Out Works
Cash Out lets you settle a bet before the event finishes, taking a guaranteed amount now instead of waiting for the final result. Used well, it limits losses or locks in part of a win. Used on every bet, it quietly costs you money.
How it works
While your bet is open, Hollywoodbets may show a Cash Out value. That value is based on the current state of the match and the live odds, so it rises when your selection is doing well and falls when it is not. Accept it and the bet is settled immediately at that amount, whatever happens next.
How to use it
- Open My Bets (or your open bets) on the site or app.
- If Cash Out is available, a button shows the current offer.
- Tap it and confirm. The amount is credited to your balance.
The offer can change in the seconds before you confirm. If the price moves, you may be shown a new value to accept.
Why Cash Out is sometimes unavailable
- It is suspended during key moments such as a penalty, a red card review or a VAR check.
- Not every market or bet type offers it.
- It is offered at the bookmaker's discretion and can be withdrawn at any time.
When it makes sense
- Multis with one leg left. If most legs have won and you are nervous about the last one, cashing out guarantees a return.
- Something changed. An injury or red card can make your original reasoning invalid.
- Cutting a loss. Taking something back from a bet that is going badly can beat losing the full stake.
The catch
The Cash Out offer includes the bookmaker's margin, so on average it is worth a little less than the bet's true value. Cashing out by habit adds up over time. Treat it as an occasional risk-management tool, not a safety net for every bet, and never as a way to chase losses.

Is Cash Out good value?
